Common questions

How much does a plumber cost?

It depends on the job and how bad the problem is. That is why the first step is a phone call. Describe the problem and get your free estimate on the phone, with upfront pricing.

Will I talk to a real person?

Yes, you will.

Do I need to fill out a form?

No forms and no waiting on emailed quotes. One phone call is all it takes.

Can I get help at night or on a weekend?

We have plumbers ready to help families in the community 24/7, but moment-to-moment availability depends on demand. Call to find out how soon we can service your home.

Should I wait to call?

You already know that plumbing problems don't go away on their own. And waiting just increases the risks to your house. Plumbers see this hesitation all the time. Instead of regretting not calling earlier, just make that 2-minute call now and get your free estimate.

People also ask

How do I tell a septic problem from a sewer problem?

By what you have, first, since a property on acreage outside the town lines is almost certainly on septic. The symptoms inside the house are the same either way. The difference shows up outside, at the tank and field rather than at a lateral running to the street.

How long does a septic drain field last?

Decades when it's sized right and not overloaded, and far less when it takes too much water or gets driven over. Pumping the tank on schedule is what protects the field, and that's as true on the acreage toward Dalton as it is here. Once a field fails, replacement is the expensive end of this work.

Can a garbage disposal go on a septic system?

It can, though it increases solids going into the tank and shortens the interval between pumpings. Some systems handle it fine. Knowing your tank size and household load is what makes that a sensible decision or not.

Why does the well pump run when nobody is using water?

Something is leaking, whether it's a toilet flapper, an outdoor spigot or the line itself, or the check valve is letting pressure fall back. Isolating sections narrows it down quickly. A pump cycling overnight is worth a call rather than a wait.
